Our promise is that whether you have moved to the United States 20 years ago or 20 minutes ago, CHAMP is here to help guide you on the path of understanding the English language, while also connecting some cultural and historical dots along the way. 

When we climb a mountain at high elevations we need time to prepare and acclimate ourselves to the altitude. On Mt. Everest for example, climbers must repeatedly climb up from base camp to progressively higher altitude camps and back down again before they can safely attempt the summit. To try to climb the peak in one day would be a massive shock on the system. Acclimating to a new language, country, and culture can feel just as daunting at times. With that in mind we personalize each class to fit the students needs while respecting their rhythm and level of understanding. 

We think of CHAMP's work of cultural acclimation as a guide for new comers to start feeling a sense of understanding and belonging. We are driven by a deep passion for cultural understanding, historical discovery, and effective communication.
